The Via Ferrata Pale di San Martino is a dramatic multi-day hut-to-hut circuit through the largest group in the Dolomites, weaving across exposed limestone towers, high-altitude plateaus, and glacial passes via fixed cables, iron ladders, and equipped ledges. The circuit links iconic rifugios — including Rosetta, Pradidali, Velo della Madonna, Mulaz, and Treviso — with technical via ferrata sections such as the Ferrata del Velo, Ferrata del Portón, and the demanding Ferrata Bolver Lugli, rewarding experienced hikers with sweeping panoramas from summits like Cima della Vezzana (3,192 m). The route is best tackled in summer (June–September); winter months bring extreme cold and hazardous conditions at the plateau elevations of 2,300–2,900 m.
